To: PS Porter Family Heirs and In-Laws
From: Louis Porter
Subject: Sale of The Porter Family Lands in NC, The bill Russ, Bill Major, Currie Tract of 62 acres
Deed: Mae A Porter to Benjamin Louis Porter.
Surveyor: By Stewart Gooden, Plat # 270 Dated 11/6/97, rev. 10/13/98.
Description: About 42 acres of rich white oak swamp land with hardwood timber and loblolly pines planted in 2004 (± 24 acres), plus 20 acres of pine and oak “sandhill land”.
Price: Asking price is fair market value minus 10% Realtor Fee, and a “Family Discount”.
If interested call me and I will answer any questions that I can and will consider offers until August 9, 2015 before turning the sale over to my realtor. I will keep our conversation confidential. I am doing this because I think I am obligated to give our Porter Family first choice to the lands our ancestors cleared and settled long ago. The rail Tram-way train carried the logs from Currie Tract in white oak swamp across the PS Porter Lowlands of the Cape Fear River to float them down river to the sawmill ± 40 miles to Wilmington.
Note to David: Please read and call me to finalize.
Thanks
Louis
