The Business Meeting was held Saturday, July 7th, 2018

Treasurers report

Congrats to everyone making the auction a success.  Total was over $3450 (almost $500 more than last year) .

Bid winners for special privileges for next year are as follows

·       Fastpass Meals – Ellen

 

We have already oversold the lodge & Kirkland.

The final treasurer’s report will be stored on the website prior to next HP.

BUYING FOOD IN BULK

This was the sixth  year we ordered food and supplies thru Sysco. KevinZ is the main contact.

Costs were down again this year as we are fine tuning our system, ordering only what is needed.

Mac, Nathan, Kelby met the order at FFA center on Friday before the House Party to receive the shipment.

KevinZ Will email and post info about quantities needed.    

 

 

Cookday costs & needs

These will be only listed in treasurers report from now on.

 

For those items that are needed like blenders, Elise will setup “Sign up genius” list where we all can check off the items we can bring to the PHP for the week.

CAMP CLEANUP

Pier was cleaned up early due to the high wind all day on this side of the lake.

Need to leave the campground cleaner than we found it. 

Everything back where it was.  Please check the cabins if your kids have been playing with them. 

We need to put away tables and sweep the eating hall immediately after use tonight

Sunday crew will cook in the am, then clean up and mop, and pack cooking stuff.

Lost and found should be put on the stage

July 4th

We are assuming we will get July 4th week again next year.  No confirmation yet.

AGAIN, there are NO FIREWORKS allowed in NCFFA Center. 

 

Chad – if anyone is aware fireworks are planning to be used, please let Chad know

Marianne – Tommy washed kitchen towels several times this week.  Thanks Tommy!

Chad – Natalie won 2 (singles and doubles) silver medals in tennis at the National Special Olympics.

We missed having you here this year.  Congrats again!

Julie – Loved Tina’s activities, suggest facebook group.  Also would be great to bring games for board nights

 

Elise – Leave open spaces on sign up genie and people can say what they are bringing

 

Julie – Bugspray is much needed if those insects (midges) come back next year.  They started right after fireworks Wednesday night.  Supposedly their presence indicates a healthy lake.

Since the last HP we made $116.15   on commissions thru Amazon.

The Multi-year total since 2009 is $2,877.68
