The Business Meeting was held Saturday, July 6^th, 2019

Treasurers report

Congrats to everyone making the auction a success. Record total was $3861 (about $400 more than 2018) .

Bid winners for special privileges for next year are as follows

· No Cook Day – Mike Ross ($110)

· Fastpass Meals – Mary Margaret ($40)

We have already oversold the lodge & Kirkland.

The final treasurer’s report will be stored on the website prior to next HP.

Farm trip

Went very well, much appreciated the preparation efforts.

The celebration of Marianne’s life was held immediately after at the Porter graveyard.

Wonderful music as well as heartfelt memories and messages from the porter teens.

BUYING FOOD IN BULK

This was the seventh year we ordered food and supplies thru Sysco. KevinZ is the main contact.

Costs were down again this year as we are fine tuning our system, ordering only what is needed.

Mac, Nathan, Kelby met the order at FFA center on Friday before the House Party to receive the shipment.

KevinZ Will email and post info about quantities needed.

Cookday costs & needs

These costs will be only listed in treasurers report from now on.

For 2019 we had ordered too much of the following

luncheon meat

ice cream

margarine (5 gal is enough)

Head cooks please organize/tag/claim the food you will use for your day

if it's not tagged in some way, assume you can and should use it if needed

Head cooks should coordinate with tomorrow’s head cooks to convey knowledge crucial to using the supplies we already have as well as leftovers.

Mac – We could use more forks

We could use a database of large group recipes since we have big ovens

it was requested that breakfast start at 7:30a, up to each day’s head cooks

CAMP CLEANUP

Need to leave the campground cleaner than we found it.

Need to spray inside bath houses with hoses as needed

Everything back where it was. Please check the cabins if your kids have been playing with them.

We need to put away tables and sweep the eating hall immediately after use Saturday night

Sunday crew will cook in the am, then clean up and mop, and pack cooking stuff.

For those in the Lodge

Empty trash, ac off, leave door unlocked, keys turned in where you got them

Lost and found should be put on the stage

7:30 breakfast on Sunday

We are assuming we will get July 4^th week again next year. No confirmation yet.

AGAIN, there are NO FIREWORKS allowed in NCFFA Center.
