If interested in “reserving” a bed in an air conditioned space please email _______________.   Requests received by June 1st will be assigned in age priority (see item 2).  Requests after that will be filled if there is any space left over.

Item 2 – Age Priority

Below are the age priority rules, established at 2011 PHP Bus Meeting, for assignment of most sleeping quarters on the campground.

1.      1st group to choose - Porters 60 or older, oldest chooses first.

2.      2nd group to choose - Porters with child under 3 as of July 1, youngest child chooses first

3.      3rd group to choose - Porters younger than 60, oldest chooses first.

But here are the new designations/restrictions set forth by the committee

·        No children under 16 in Conference room near putt-putt

·        Dorms 1 & 2 are designated for families

·        Dorm 3 is for girls 16yo and older

·        Dorm 4 is for boys 16yo and older

Committee reserves the right to adjust the above as needed to best maximize the occupancy of the air conditioned space.

Item 3 – Daily lodge room rental $60/night

It’s been a standing rule that if you have reserved a lodge room and no longer need it, that you release the room, and you will retain credit on PHP account for a room the following year.  That room will be offered to the next person in priority that prepaid for a lodge room.

With all the interest in available lodge rooms, we are taking this idea to the daily level as well.    If you will only be here part of the week, we want to be able to make that room available to for use.   Here is the new process.

Please coordinate with ___________ if either of the below apply to you

·        You have a lodge room and you will not be using it all week.

·        You are interested in lodge room daily rental

As an example, if you are not arriving until Wednesday for dinner, you would let ____________ know that.   That lodge room is available Sun, Mon, & Tues and would be offered to those that indicated interest, in age priority (Item 2).     So let’s say David was highest in age priority of those that were interested in taking a room those nights.  So he gets the key, uses the room, and needs to have it cleaned up by Wednesday, and turn in the key.   When he settles up, he owes $60/night for the lodge room daily rental.
