Howdy Porters!

I hope everyone is getting excited for HOUSEPARTY starting THIS SUNDAY!!!  The family is super excited as always and I hope you are. Forgive the long email but every year we have issues that need to be addressed so no one can say.... “I didn’t know that!” 😂

Please keep gathering and making items for our Auction. This is still a major way for us to help keep our costs lower. Be creative and prepare something special that will bring in some real $$$.

Get your talents well perfected for the talent show. Talent shows are not just for the kiddos… Some of the most entertaining are by our older generations.  Also, bring your instruments for sing alongs!

Don't forget your RE-USABLE CUPS!!

Bring lifejackets and put your name on them.

We need volunteers to bring

- a blender

- cornhole boards.

If you are able to bring yours please let me know so we can a count.

Feel free to also bring board games to leave in the dining hall for all to enjoy.

We do not have ability to take credit/debit cards, so please bring checkbook or cash to settle up.

Senior FASTPASS is now in effect in the dining hall

60 plus in the line on the left, everyone else on the right

Speaking of fastpass, thanks to our auction winners who will be at the front of the line all week  Bart (Tubing fastpass)  & Ellen (Meal fastpass)

Brand new this year are 2 additional shower facilities.

-Mens showers are between putt putt and lodge

-Womens is attached to the new dorms near kirkland

If your kids run out of soap, let someone know (seriously)

A few rules to review:

Remind your children about water safety- no swimming on boat side of dock.

Remind your children about bike rules- no bikes on Sunday, park not in front but on the side of the eating hall, ride counter clock wise around cabins, etc.

Absolutely NO SMOKING in rooms.  There is actually NO SMOKING on the camp ground in general, so be respectful and clean up after yourselves.

Absolutely no GUNS of any sorts please.

NO FIREWORKS (Of any kind whatsoever) PERIOD. White Lake always provides a great display for us.

After 77 years of this amazing reunion, our main goals as a family are to enjoy our time together, have our kids grow up knowing their cousins, maintain a safe environment for everyone, follow the rules set by both the FFA and our family, and be respectful of each other. We can’t go wrong with these thoughts in mind. We are family, remember.

Last thought that I feel will help things move smoothly…. Make sure your kids know the rules and follow them. We aren’t paid enough as the leadership team to watch and discipline everyone’s kids, lol. If mine are screwing up, please come to me and I will handle it and we will repay the favor to you! (I say this with the utmost love)

Yes, I know this email was long, but not as long as....say....a book. :-)

The week is close upon us. Please feel free to contact me if you need anything that can't wait until Sunday. Can't wait for a safe fun week!

Love

Chad
